Au Natural... Well Almost

Happy Wednesday loves!! Im coming to you with a post different from the usual. One of my follows(Hey, Elise!)emailed and asked how my natural hair journey is going and how do I maintain my hair. For those of you who dont know I have been transitioning from relaxed hair to natural for a year and two months now. It hasnt been easy but at this very point I am so happy to be chemical free with a head full of curls!!!

Now how I maintain my hair is very simple. I shampoo and deep condition once a week, I moisturize the hair every other day, then I usually do a bantu knot twist out because its really easy, when I go to bed I tie my hair up with a silk scarf, and in the mornings I shake it out and go!! That's it! I don't do too much to it because I believe hair grows and gets stronger when you leave it be. Here are some pictures for a little more detail.
Yes I know I look cray lol.

And this is the turn out!! If any of you loves have questions or anything like that please feel free to email me. I really enjoy sharing my journey.

Your hair looks absolutely stunning, you truly are a beautiful woman. I need to comb out my curls and try a new look for winter. Thank you for the inspiration.

I like it natural! More women should leave their hair the way it is. You look pretty.

Love the hair! Cantu has amazing products. Have you tried castor oil and coconut oil? They work wonders for my hair. I have relaxed hair but am stretching my relaxers to 4 perms this year. Usually I have 6-8.
