Shop & Tell

It feels like FOREVER since the last time I've updated!! So much has happened.. One of which was I went to one of my oldest friends like we've been friends since babyhood lolz. I attended her baby shower and it was really beautiful because I saw friends I haven't seen in years!! I'm so happy for her.

Now on to the good stuff!
I've been wanting Lauren Conrad's book Style for a really long time now. She has a cute, feminine style that I adore so I figured I just pick it up and see what she defines as style. I haven't finished the book yet but its mostly tips and tricks on how to use what you already have in your closet and still look fresh and chic. I love that because in this economy going out and shopping every other day is a no-no.

Next I got a beautiful blush by Illamasqua. I really love the brand, their products are pigmented, there is a huge range in colors, plus I raved about them before. The blush is called Exite and I know it looks really loud and bold but once blended its the most gorgeous coral color just perfect for Spring.

Lastly I am really enjoying two products I got in the NARS Fashion Forward set. An nice blue-violet purple named Daphne and a shadow pencil in Hollywoodland. I told you fashionable people before this set is a deal but I am going to mention it AGAIN. This is a great deal these are full size products!! Hollywoodland is so pretty and easy to use. I've been putting it in the tearduct just to open up my eyes and the gold metallic does just that!

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Sundays!!

I've never had experience with Illamasqua makeup (or even their gorgeous nail polish) but that blush is a yummy color. And NARS always has the best pigmentation and color range. It just looks soooo pretty on.
